Measles

If you watch any cable TV at all, you may have noticed a plethora of commercials for medications and illnesses. What concerns me is that many of the diseases are simply initials and perhaps most of the remedies are also simply initials. 

I have a couple of concerns. If you, or maybe even your doc, gets the initials mixed up or maybe even completely backwards, untold medical disasters could occur.

On a more serious note it seems the number of measles cases in the country might re-enforce the efficacy of the vaccine. Certainly having measles when I was just a kid and seeing a friend die from them made me happy to get the inoculation and to give it to my sons.
